The 44th edition of the Super Bowl championship game featured the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Indianapolis Colts and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion New Orleans Saints as they fight for the NFL championship. This is the Colts’ fourth Super Bowl appearance while it’s the Saints’ first ever.
NBA superstars LeBron James and Dwight Howard are in the latest commercial for McDonald’s. It’s a remake of the classic Jordan-Bird McDonald’s commercial first aired more than a decade ago. The new ad debuted on the Super Bowl XLIV (44).
The WBC lightweight champion from Venezuela, Edwin Valero successfully defended his belt after defeating Antonio DeMarco last Saturday night.
After nine (9) rounds of beating from Valero, the Mexican DeMarco sat in his corner and didn’t want to come out for the 10th round of their title match. DeMarco was far behind on points against the lightweight champ as Valero was eight points up on the scorecards of all three judges when the fight ended.

Tuff Stuff magazine is one of the hobby’s longest-running magazines for sports cards and figures. Tuff Stuff’s online price guide was one of my references for trading card prices a few years ago when I was an active NBA Basketball card collector. When I checked their website, it seems that the magazine has been renamed to Tuff Stuff’s Sports Collectors Monthly.
The Ukulele Kid performed his ukulele skills later last year with viral videos of some popular songs like “I’m Yours” and “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” that circulated YouTube around December of 2009. The former received massive views of around 12 million views while the latter was also on the million level.
The Ukulele Boy is making a huge wave on the YouTube scene with his solo ukulele performances from the past months. He became an instant fame on the internet thanks to this generation’s video sharing technology.
