Fil-Am Thia Megia astonished America’s Got Talent Judges

14-year old Filipino-American Thia Megia recently auditioned at the “Windy City”, Chicago,  in a reality talent search in the US, America’s Got Talent now on its 4th season.

She sang her version of “I Am Changing” by Jennifer Holliday that amazes the crowd and gave her a standing ovation. Also, she astonished the judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osborne and David Hasselhoff. Here are some of their notable comments;

David: “You know what, nothing’s going to stop you now. You’ve got a beautiful God-given talent. Terrific, terrific, terrific job. Congratulations.”

Sharon: “Not only are you a great singer but you sing with emotion and that’s very hard to do.”

Piers: “Right now, you are the best singer I’ve seen in the competition.”

For a 14-year old girl, I’m really amazed with her deep and strong singing vocals. Her performance during this audition was amazing. She gave the song a special magic because she sang it with all her emotions. I’m am very proud of her as a Filipino. Contestants who made it through the auditions will be included in the Top 40 and are going to the quarterfinal round in Las Vegas for a chance to take a spot in the Top 20 semifinal. I am really hoping that she will win this competition.
