Former President of the Philippines, Corazon Aquino died at the age of 76 as reported by the Associated Press here after a hard fought battle against colon cancer.
She is a very significant Filipino icon because of her instrumental campaign that returned our country’s democracy through EDSA Revolution. Although I am just a few years old when the peace rally occurred, I really appreciate her contribution. And for that, I encourage everyone to pray for her soul. We can light up candles in our homes and offer prayers.
