AlertPay Now Allows Credit Card Withdrawal of Funds

This November, the online payment processor AlertPay announced through its blog their new features and functions made to benefit its members. I think these new features show that AlertPay is getting stronger and stronger, and that their members’ requests and suggestions are really important to them.

Here are AlertPay’s latest features.

Credit Card Withdrawal

You can now withdraw your AlertPay funds to your VISA or MasterCard credit card and it will be automatically converted to your credit card’s currency either in U.S. Dollars (USD), Pounds Sterling (GBP) or Euros (EUR). Withdrawal duration takes around 2 to 4 business days and the fee is $5 USD.

According to AlertPay, “Please note that you will only be able to withdraw up to $250 USD (or equivalent) per transaction temporarily. We apologize, but this service is not available for American Express.”

Pay in different Currencies with Credit Card

Use your credit card to make payments in three currencies such as USD, GBP and EUR.

“You can make cross-border payments in three currencies USD, GBP and EUR and save money on currency exchange. All you have to do is choose the currency you wish to be billed in for that purchase and avoid paying extra fees. We apologize, but this service is not available for American Express,” as stated by AlertPay.

Phone Validation

This feature adds security for U.S. and Canadian sellers that can help prevent fake payments.

“When shoppers make a credit card purchase through a website, they will receive a validation code by phone that they must enter at checkout to complete their purchase. This will help protect our sellers by preventing fraudulent payments. This applies to U.S. and Canadian shoppers alone and will only be done one time,” AlertPay said.

Lower Credit Card Fees

For this feature, AlertPay slightly lowered their credit card fees. Although it’s just a small discount, it’ll make a difference when you’re dealing with huge transactions.

AlertPay stated that, “Now for the most exciting news of all: lower credit card fees! Members who receive credit card payments will pay a little bit less on every credit card transaction. We have lowered them from 5.0% to 4.9%, saving you just a little bit more money. And every little bit counts!”

AlertPay made some big steps this month to improve their services for their members. Hope these new features make AlertPay users happy.
