Manny Pacquiao vs Joshua Clottey Highlights

Manny Pacquiao still holds the WBO Welterweight title belt after defeating Joshua Clottey last March 13, 2010.

The Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA was filled with 50,944 people as they watched the “Pac-Man” displayed another magnificent artistry in the boxing ring. It was the first boxing mega fight held in the world’s largest domed arena.

Arnel Pineda sang the Philippine National Anthem on the Pacquiao-Clottey bout.

The welterweight bout lasted for 12 rounds but it was noticeably a Pacquiao show as he won by Unanimous Decision with judges’ score cards of 120-108, 119-109 and another 119-109.

The Filipino sensation and 7 weight division boxing champion, Pacquiao (51-3-2) threw more than 1,200 punches in 12 rounds, An amazing average of around 100 punches thrown per round that made the Ghanian boxer, Clottey (35-4-0) stayed in his tortoise style defense most of the time.

Pacquiao unleashed lightning quick attacks in every angle and a lot of body shots that made Clottey grimace in pain in some moments of the fight. He also gave Clottey a taste of his pompyang cymbals punch on the 4th round.
